The engine system of any vehicle generates a lot of heat due its nature of work. The engine has
the responsibility of releasing energy upon burning the fuel. The air and fuel mixture on combustion releases a lot of energy. The heat generated along with the energy heats the other components in the system.
Without cooling, this would lead to the malfunctioning of the system. To ensure that all the components are
at their optimum temperature, the manufacturers started using cooling devices. The cooling devices in the engine system remove the extra heat generated and helps in maintaining the temperature. In modern cars, the engine system also has a
separate cooling system that mutually benefit each other. Radiator units play a major role in the cooling system. The coolant in the system absorbs the heat generated and lets it out along with the air.
The radiator in the cooling system along
with its supporting components work effectively to remove the excess heat inside
the engine system. The radiator fan helps in cooling process by pulling the air
towards the radiator. The radiator fan has four or more blades which spin at greater speed to draw more air. The radiator fan can be seen between the radiator and the engine. Vehicles driven in hot climatic regions can add additional fan in front of the radiator to help in the cooling process.
When the vehicle is not moving fast in hot climatic conditions, you require the radiator fan
even more as only very little cool air enters the radiator. There may arise cooling problem when the engine is not cooled regularly.
