What is AC Expansion Valve?

An expansion valve regulates the flow of gas inside the a/c system. The responsibility of the A/C expansion valve is to allow the flow of refrigerant according to the cooling demands. There is no significant correlation between the evaporator and the evaporator valve. The evaporator evaporates the liquid refrigerant and the gas just absorb the heat.
