AC Evaporators work by absorbing the heat from the medium, which has to be cooled. This is the basic idea of any cooling system. This process is achieved by maintaining the evaporator at a lower temperature and pressure than the surrounding air. One of the significant features of AC refrigerant is when the pressure is reduced, the boiling point is also reduced. When the pressure is reduced through the expansion valve, the refrigerant will boil and become vapor. The warm air from the evaporator coil gives the heat to the lower temperature liquid or vapor. In simple words, the amount of liquid entering the evaporator becomes vapor before reaching the end of the evaporator.
