Out of the various parts that are available in the vehicle, Mini AC expansion device is a unique device that is used in the air conditioning system. A Mini AC expansion device cannot perform individually. It is linked to the condenser which form the input and also to the compressor which is considered as its outlet to the Mini AC expansion device. A Mini AC expansion device is also known as the thermostatic expansion valve (TEV). The purpose of the Mini AC expansion device is to transfer the high pressure liquid from the condenser, back to the low pressure gas as the input to the compressor. The cool liquid from the condenser that is at high pressure, reaches the Mini AC expansion device. The Mini AC expansion device consists of a sensor bulb in it to screen the temperature of the liquid. The evaporator is a device which lets the high pressure cool air into a tube which is mouthed with a small pore. The cooling process of the refrigerant is aided by the blower fan that is available in the back side of the evaporator. This working is similar to the process of the refrigerant pump that is used in the refrigerators. The low pressure gas is then given as the input to the compressor. A repeated process of the heating and the cooling is performed successively, to keep the vehicle atmosphere cool.
