The hydraulic Mini AC accumulator - drier is used for various purposes like maintaining pressure, prorating fluids and providing power that is backlogged in the accumulator to the main pump. The hydraulic Mini AC accumulator – drier and the water-air accumulator is similar in function but it is dissimilar only in the way, the gas and fluid is stored and converted. This can be made possible with the help of the separators which are of three types. They are the bladder, diaphragm, and the piston. A bladder has an internal tank connected to the Mini AC accumulator - drier which is filled with the nitrogen. A diaphragm has a cylinder which is fixed at the middle of the Mini AC accumulator - drier through which the gas is filled. Diaphragm can let more fluid than the bladder which makes it more powerful. Unlike the bladder and the diaphragm, piston is placed on top of the Mini AC accumulator - drier for containing the gas. The piston can withhold pressure for a longer period than the others.
A Water-air Mini AC accumulator - drier resembles the function of the hydraulic Mini AC accumulator - drier. The only change in the water-air accumulator and the hydraulic accumulator is the agent used for pressurization. In a hydraulic accumulator, gas is used as the pressurizing agent. Whereas, a water-air accumulator uses water to enhance the pressure.
