The Kia catalytic converter is a device that is found in the vehicle to protect the engine. The catalytic converter has the responsibility to protect the engine from being corrupted due to these emissions. The carbon monoxide and the hydrocarbon gases are exhausted to the Kia catalytic converter. The function of this is to oxidize the gases entering into carbon dioxide and water. The catalyst used for this purpose is the platinum or palladium. These are virtual catalysts which do not actually involve in the oxidation process physically. If the gasoline is used with lead or sulfur, the catalysts get affected by the formation of a coating. This may damage the catalytic converter affecting the oxidation process.
