Any component cannot function as a single part. The air conditioning system also functions with various components linked with it. One among the AC component is the AC accumulator. It is called the heart of the air conditioning system as it takes the major role of circulating and regulating the refrigerant throughout the system.

An AC compressor is a simple component that does the function of a pump. It is belted to the engine. The purpose of using an air conditioning system in a vehicle is to reduce the temperature of the air surrounded inside the vehicle. The compressor takes the major part in getting this done. The refrigerant gas is compressed and transferred to the outlet. Any AC system has two section. One is the low pressure side and the other is the high pressure side. The inlet doing suction process is basically considered as the low pressure side and the outlet which discharges is considered as the high pressure side. In the inlet side refrigerant gas is sucked by the accumulator from the evaporator. The refrigerant gas sucked is compressed using the AC compressor. This compressed gas is then transferred to the clutch in the outlet side. The heat absorbed from inside the vehicle is transferred out now.
