AC Condenser in Ford

The responsibility of any AC compressor is to cool down the vapor coming out from the compressor. The purpose of any AC condenser in a car is to transfer the refrigerant from one place to another. So it has the responsibility to produce cooling air into the air conditioning which provides the cool air, when an air conditioning unit is turned on. In order to generate cooling air, Ford AC condenser transfers the heat from warm refrigerant to the cool refrigerant and the transferred warm refrigerant are send to the environment. There is another factor which influences cooling effect is the location of AC condenser. Normally AC condenser in Ford is located behind the front grill to reduce the heat coming into the compressor and also making the condenser directly exposed to the atmosphere to avoid over heating.

Construction of Ford AC Condenser

Ford AC condenser's construction looks similar to the construction of a coil. The construction of AC condenser has a very important role in the process of condensing the hot gaseous vapor into liquid by cooling it. It can also be defined as AC condenser converts hot vapor into liquid.

Functions of Ford AC Condenser

Ford AC condenser is referred to a typical heat exchangers which exchanges hot air with cool air. It is because AC condenser uses coils to condenser the heat vapor from the AC condenser to the external atmosphere. So when it released into the external atmosphere, the refrigerant is passed through coils and this process is under taken by expansion device. This is not the only way to cool the air. There are other alternatives to cool the refrigerant through external source. So to make that happen we use fans to cool down the liquid. The usage of fan does not truly cool the refrigerant, but it avoids the transfer of hot air inside the coils. There are many components in an AC condenser, which are responsible for providing the cooling effect into the air conditioning system. So depending upon the age of AC condenser, certain components are needs to be changed for proper functioning.
