Working of Chrysler Oxygen Sensor
Normally, when a car engine burns gasoline, it releases oxygen in gasoline and this level is termed as 14:7:1. Generally this is understood as the perfect level ratio. But this ratio varies if there is increased presence of carbon and hydrogen. This change of ratio affects the combustion of fuel in the combustion engine. So normally if there is decreased in amount of oxygen, the combustion fuel will leaves out certain amount of fuel at the bottom while the process of combustion. These remained fuels at the bottom leads to contamination. But this scenario changes when there is an increased level of oxygen in the combustion fuel. Increased level of oxygen in combustion fuel is known as lean mixtures. It is advised not to drive your Chrysler car with lean mixture of fuel. A car driven by lean mixtures damages the engine and continued drive with lean mixtures leads to permanent damage.
