In other words an ABS system reduces the hydraulic pressure applied on the brake, there by avoiding the danger of braking traction and lockup of wheels. The ABS control module comprises of a hydraulic control unit, speed sensors or wheel speed sensors and an electronic control unit. These three helps drivers from the sudden lockup of wheels when brakes are applied suddenly.
